Biography
Keri Dangerfield Stone

Adoption has been a part of my life since I was born. My father was adopted, I was adopted by my stepfather, and I gave up my firstborn child to adoption at sixteen. I later reconnected with my father and then shortly after with the father of my first child. We married and after struggling with fertility issues we were blessed with a son and daughter. A decade later we reunited with our firstborn son. The journey of reuniting with my son inspired me to pursue writing as a form of therapy. My journal entries and communications with family became the cornerstone of my memoir series, where I explore the complexities of adoption and its impact on families.
In addition to writing, I have spoken at conferences to raise awareness about the losses families experience and must cope with while navigating the adoption process. I hope to one day create “Mama Keri Houses,” supporting single mothers and fathers in a communal community, offering mentorship, life skills coaching, and access to a variety of healing modalities. This will give mothers and fathers the ability and option to raise their children in a safe and supportive environment. My mission is to empower families impacted by adoption in any capacity to join forces, heal, and support one another.

How can we even begin to comprehend, honor, and acknowledge one love on a soul level in the Heavenly Realm if we can’t even comprehend, honor, and acknowledge one love on a cellular level in this Physical Realm? We are who we are. It is what it is.
